The Obama administration continues to signal that it will make education reform a priority in 2010. With the U.S. Department of Education and Congress gearing up for the challenge, those working on education policy efforts and researching the processes behind them continue to prepare for what is bound to be an exciting and complex undertaking. SPSSI invites interested stakeholders to a conversation intended to shed light both on current projects being carried out in the field of education and on new scientific research being conducted by our panel experts that may aid policymakers and reformers in their work. Please join us for this informative SPSSI dialogue on the future of education in America.
About SPSSI: The Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI) is a nonpartisan international, educational, and scientific group of approximately 3000 psychologists, allied scientists, students, and others who share a common interest in research on the psychological aspects of important social issues. In various ways, the Society seeks to bring theory and practice into focus on human problems of the group, the community, and nations, as well as the increasingly important problems that have no national boundaries.
