A Feature Stage symposium on Thursday, August 3 from 1:00-1:50 PM on the topic of "Fostering Policy Relevant Research: Insights from Government, Not-for-Profit, and Academic Settings" that was chaired by SPSSI President Abigail Stewart, PhD and featured talks by SPSSI President-Elect Patrick Grzanka, PhD, SPSSI Policy Director Sarah Mancoll, MSc, and Past SPSSI Marshall Fellow Abir Aldhalimi, PhD. A Joint Social Hour with Division 34 on Friday, August 4 from 5:00-6:50 PM. Location: Marriott Marquis, Level 4, Liberty Salon O/P.
The Lynn Stuart Weiss Lecture on Saturday, August 5 from 2:00-2:50 PM on the topic of "Abortion and Deservingness: The Role of Psychological Research in Understanding Abortion Attitudes in the U.S.," given by Sara I. McClelland, PhD/JD. Location: Walter E Washington Convention Center, Level 2, Room 204C.
